This year you have the opportunity to give more meaning to the holidays. Zuidtoren is participating in the first edition of The Giving Table; an initiative of Use/space in collaboration with The Food Bank.Due to stricter sustainability requirements and less food waste, there are far fewer surpluses available. Fantastic for our planet, but a big challenge for The Food Bank. That's why financial support is now more important than ever! On December 16, from 12:00 to 13:30, you are welcome at the largest festive Giving Table in the Netherlands. Dozens of buildings and hundreds of people are connected via a national livestream. The goal: to collect as many donations as possible for the 150,000 people in the Netherlands who depend on The Food Bank. What does The Giving Table entail?Companies can support The Food Bank with food packages or a donation amount of their choice. You will be named as a donor, unless anonymity is desired.Employees can buy lunch for €15; A meal is donated per lunch to someone who needs it most.Employers can also purchase lunches for employees as a warm gesture towards the team.During lunch, you will be taken through an inspiring and interactive online program, with impact stories from the Food Bank and entertainment. When: Tuesday 16 December, 12:00 - 13:30Where: Zuidtoren Donate & Register: usespace.nl/giving-table
